Ghanaians are yet to wake up from the shock of losing their favourite star Ebony. The talented singer was the most dominant Ghanaian artiste last year.
She was definitely on her way to claim several awards. Her dreams have been cut short through her death.
The young star was involved in a car accident on the Sunyani Road last week. Her untimely death has caused a lot of pain in the hearts of her many followers. In a bit to get some closure or justification several people have been blamed for her death.
From the government to prophets to road contractors nobody is being spared. Surprisingly in the midst of these people is Bullet of Ruff and Smooth or Rufftown records who was also Ebony’s manager.
Bullet is credited for plugging the young talented Ebony from nowhere helping her to blossom to the heights she reached.
Ebony kept growing and apparently, she may have turn out too big a talent for Bullet to handle. Bullet sensing eminent danger recently before Ebony’s death came out to say that he has the antidote to bring Ebony down.
Those words were nothing then but now coupled with the demise of the dancehall queen, several meanings are being read into it.
In another controversial twist, Ebony reached out to Zylofon Media Boss Nana Appiah Mensah to help set her “free” few days before the accident.
Nana Appiah Mensah revealed this when he paid tribute and expressed his condolences to the singer and her family.
The owner of the media giant went on to say that his company Zylofon had a “fruitful” meeting with Ebony and they reached an agreement to sign her just last Tuesday. The question on people’s minds is why Ebony wanted to be free and what was chasing her out of Rufftown records.
