The death of Ebony Reigns has sparked a lot of controversies in the industry and as usual, Ghanaians are looking for who to blame for her death.
The CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah who made a confusing statement on twitter yesterday angered Ghanaians as they thought he, in some way contributed to the death of the 90s bad girl.
On twitter yesterday, he posted;
We had a fruitful meeting and reached an Agreement just last tuesday. “Please help me pay him for my bail out. I want to be free”. I hope you’re free now & finds absolute peace in the bosom of the almighty God. Let’s pay CRITICAL ATTENTION to our female artists.#RIPEbony
The tweet went viral yesterday and Ghanaians have asked him to explain ‘bail out’ in his tweet.
Although, most industry players think the post came at the wrong time, others think he shouldn’t have posted anything of that sort at all.
Afia Schwarzenegger, Ebony’s closest friend in the industry has condemned Nana Appiah’s tweet. According to her, what he even posted on social media will bring nothing good but hatred.
Good evening Nana,
Trust me when i say I can’t wait to chop some of your money you are throwing away cos I don’t believe u believe u gonna make that money back But listen
Hope all is well…there was no point in what u wrote..there was no point in trying to be popular in someone’s death..
If we all will find a “Bullet” in our lives…our careers would have been better…
If we all find the one that will hustle for shows whiles we concentrate on our talents..we all would have been hitting the billboard charts .
If Nana Hemaa @ebony_reigns wanted to tell the whole world about her terms with her boss Bullet…she would have done that thru radio not you.
Maturity is when u take ur emotions out of business…whatever she told u was confidential not for ur social media page,papa @mn_appiah
Good night she posted on facebook.
