Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has beaten off competition to emerge as the Most Influential Musician on Social Media in the 2017 Ghana Social Media Rankings spearheaded by Avance Media, CliQAfrica, Eazzy Social and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH.

Shatta Wale who recorded over 883,319 new followers in 2017 across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube also recorded an unprecedented level of engagement on social media to beat 3 times frontrunner, Sarkodie to emerge as the most influential artiste on Social Media.

Sarkodie in 2017 recorded the highest number of new followers numbering 1,150,389 maintaining his position as the most followed musician on Social Media with a total following over over 4.8 Million followed by Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy who also recorded 896,834 new followers in 2017.
