The late Ghanaian dancehall diva, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, widely known as Ebony, has gained top nominations at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards in the United Kingdom.
According to Nydjlive.com report, Ebony currently leads pack of nominations in all categories of this year’s awards.
The celebrated Ghanaian musician, who passed away in a gory accident, continues to ‘Reign’ above her industry colleagues both home and abroad, even in her death.
Out of the 31 categories of this year’s Ghana Music Awards in UK, Ebony is leading in about 10 categories above all other Ghanaian artiste.
Some of her nominations includes Gospel Song of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year Reggae / Dancehall Artiste of the Year and many others.
The 2018 Ghana Music Awards UK is slated for October 6, 2018 at the Gaumont Palace (Dominion Centre) Wood Green in London.
However, some entertainment pundits have tipped the late Ebony to win at least five of the awards out of the 10 categories nominated.
Meanwhile, the manager of the late dancehall artiste, Ricky Nana Agyemang, aka Bullet is yet to comment on Ebony’s UK nominations.
Ebony met her untimely death at the peak of her music career in a gory accident on Sunyani-Kumasi highway on February 8, this year.
The talented singer who has left Ghanaians with her great legacies was laid to final rest at the Osu cemetery in Accra on March 24, 2018.
